Nike Big Nike “Space City”
In late February, Nike paid tribute to the city of Houston by releasing the Nike Vandal “Screwed Up” as part of the “For the Love of the City” Collection. Now, Houston has another problem on their hands!
The second Houston, Texas tribute of the year comes in the form of this Nike Big Nike. It is inspired by Houston’s Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center. Similar to the Nike Air Max 1 “Lunar”, this sneaker possesses a futuristic, out-of-space look. It features a mostly silver upper combined with a navy speckled outsole. Other features include a tarnished silver on the heel panel, a yellow planetary ring also on the heel and grey shoelaces. Look for this Nike Big Nike “Space City” to hit House of Hoops on June 19th, 2009.

The song isn’t that bad, but really I’m impressed at the maturity of how he handled the situation. At least he did something about it and acknowledged it, even if it’s to say he’ll let it roll off his back. That’s better than threatening physical violence on your fans (that happens on other sites) or his boss who’s still in denial and will ignore, thinking it’ll go away.

Nike SB Air Zoom FC Green/White x White/Green
A couple of years ago, the Air Zoom FC was one of Nike SB’s jewels. After vanishing for a lengthy amount of time, we have now spotted two absolutely fresh colorways of the Nike SB Air Zoom FC model at In4mation.
One pair, shown to the right, features a predominately forest green base with contrasting white details throughout the upper. The other pair, shown here, uses a mostly white upper with kelly green hints throughout the silhouette. Both pair possess a combination of perforated leather and plush suede to give it a fresh, rich look.
Nike Hypermax "CB34"
The Nike Hypermax is starting to reveal itself in fresh, must-cop colorways such as the “McFly”, the “Tennis Ball” and the various PEs that have dropped. In additon, the Nike Hypermax “CB34″, inspired by Barkley’s infamous CB34 poster, has now dropped at all three House of Hoops locations.
As stated earlier, this particular Hypermax draws inspiration from one of Charles Barkley’s memorable Nike poster. A picture of the poster is imprinted on the insole. Using the exact same color scheme as the aforementioned poster, this shoe contains various coloration on the upper including red (swoosh), yellow (flywire design, ankle strap, side wall), black (midsole, heel panel, side panels) amongst other colors.

Video: T.I. at Anti-Gun Rally In NY
T.I. recently had time to chop it up with friends Young Jeezy and Nelly as they took in the Atlanta Hawks playoff game versus the Cleveland Cavaliers at Atlanta's Philips Arena. Soon after, the King of the South made his way from his hometown up to Harlem, New York, to join forces with the Reverend Al Sharpton and his National Action Network to speak out against gun violence following the tragic the fatal shooting of 17-year-old Corey Squire.
Just days away from beginning his jail sentence for felony weapons charges, a relaxed Tip addressed the many onlookers who came out to show their support for the "Bury Da Beef" campaign.
"First of all, I want to apologize to everyone," T.I. said, referring to his own publicized weapons case. He also talked about the mistakes he's made and explained why he's the perfect person to speak to the youth today.
"I know what it's like," he continued. "I've come into Harlem, I've spoken at schools before. These kids know I lived the life I'm now living. They know I've seen the likely outcome of their mistakes. I've caught cases, I've been to jail, I've had attempts on my life and I'm still standing. I've learned from it. I have the experience that living this life of crime — I know where they're headed."
Tip also expounded on the ramifications of gun violence.
"We don't understand the pain that goes on with mothers and fathers and sisters and brothers," he said about the victims of gun violence. "There are households being destroyed. You're not just killing a man, you're killing a family. But just like we can destroy, we can rebuild, and that's what we're here to do."
Immediately following the rally, T.I. — flanked by his Warner Music Group boss Kevin Liles, fellow MC and possible future labelmate Ja Rule and members of his K.I.N.G. Foundation — participated in a peace walk, visiting the site where Squire's life was cut short by a hail of bullets. Before his exit, a confident T.I. assured the audience he'd emerge from his prison sentence stronger than ever.
"When I get back — 'cause I will be back — you'll see me standing stronger, wiser and richer."

JOJO SIMMONS ARRESTED
Our friends over at TMZ is reporting that son of Reverend Run, JoJo Simmons- most noted as star of the hit MTV reality show, Run’s House was arrested tonight. The 19 year-old was allegedly buying marijuana and rolling-up while sitting in a car on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. JoJo even tried to drive off when cops approached him, almost backing up in a NYPD car.
JoJo was also booked for resisting arrest, attempted reckless endangerment, and criminal use of drug paraphernalia.
I wonder if the cameras were there? That would have been great TV!
